A Cup of Vintage hire offers a beautiful range of mix and match bone china including cake stands, platters, cups and saucers, side plates, teapots, milk jugs & sugar bowls.


Our range can be hired for up to 300 guests for: weddings, hen parties, tea parties, baby showers, sips &sees, birthdays, charity events, corporate events & more.


Not only can you hire beautiful china from A Cup of Vintage, we can also cater for your afternoon tea and even provide waiting staff, so you don’t have to worry about a thing! Every detail of your event will be tailor-made, allowing you to create a truly unique and special occasion.


From creamy Victoria sponges and rich, buttery scones to traditional scrumptious sandwiches – our teatime treats are all served on the finest bone china and are sure to impress!


All of our ingredients are Organic and when possible we use local produce and shop at the local farm shop. We are also able to cater for Gluten free, vegan and other dietary needs.

A Cup of Vintage was born when Carlie decided to do something unique for her wedding.  Instead of following form and having Champagne and canapés she decided to offer her guests afternoon tea with vintage china, which she had spent years collecting. The afternoon tea was a great success and the highlight of the day! She then saw a niche in the market after many of the guests expressed an interest in hiring the collection.

Carlie has trained with the UK's leading wedding training company UKAWP. She takes pride in every little detail whether it be for an intimate gathering of friends and family to a wedding of 200 guests. Every event is created using your personal style, insiprations, likes and dislikes. Carlie ensures that every aspect of your day runs seamlessly, allowing you to relax and enjoy. She can provide the full planning package or just on the day coordinating.


A Cup of Vintage is Carlie's real passion.  She loves all things shabby chic and with the experience of organising her own wedding and many others she knows the importance of working with reliable people, who care as much about the detail as you do.  A Cup of Vintage will make your day truely unique and a talking point for years to come!


Since starting A Cup of Vintage Carlie has branched into revamping and upcycling unused furniture and giving it a new lease of life. She uses the best paints such as Farrow & Ball, Neptune and Fired Earth. You can ask her to keep a look out for certain items you are after or even give her a piece you don’t have the time to paint yourself and she will do the hard work for you. A true labour of love!
