A Cup of Vintage hire offers a beautiful range of mix and match bone china including cake stands, platters, cups and saucers, side plates, teapots, milk jugs & sugar bowls.

 

Our range can be hired for up to 300 guests for: weddings, hen parties, tea parties, baby showers, sips &sees, birthdays, charity events, corporate events & more.

 

Not only can you hire beautiful china from A Cup of Vintage, we can also cater for your afternoon tea and even provide waiting staff, so you don’t have to worry about a thing! Every detail of your event will be tailor-made, allowing you to create a truly unique and special occasion.

 

From creamy Victoria sponges and rich, buttery scones to traditional scrumptious sandwiches – our teatime treats are all served on the finest bone china and are sure to impress!

 

All of our ingredients are Organic and when possible we use local produce and shop at the local farm shop. We are also able to cater for Gluten free, vegan and other dietary needs.

1. Terms of Payment

a. The hire period shall be 48 hours unless otherwise agreed.

b. Booking Deposit. A booking deposit of £xx.xx of the total hire value will be required to secure your items.

c. Free delivery within 10 miles of KT15, after this there is a 0.45p charge per mile.

 

2. Damage responsibility

a. On receipt of the order it is the responsibility of the customer to inspect the goods prior to the event. In the event of any damage the customer shall immediately notify A Cup of Vintage.

b. The following breakage or lose costs will apply.

£5 per cup, saucers, side plate, milk jug, sugar bowl, large plate or platter

£6.00 per Heart Wreath, enamal jug, watering can

£8.00 per bunting strip, lantern, framed poster

£20.00 per single cake stand and coffee/tea pots

£25.00 per 2 or 3 tiered cake stand.

£35 per candy bar glassware

£5 per scoop/ tong for candy bar

£2 per piece of cutlery

£5 per box

 

 

3. Returns

a. Goods are to return in their original state, please ensure all food and drink is wiped dry from the china. None of the china is dishwasher safe.

b. Damage or loss of any packing crates shall be charged at full replacement costs.

 

 

4. Cancellation

Should the customer wish to cancel the booking they must notify A Cup of Vintage as soon as possible or the following overall hire costs will apply.

5. Liability

a. In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil our obligations to you due to adverse weather conditions (such as snow) and other factors outside of our control a full refund of any monies paid (deposit) will be given.

b. No liability shall attach to either party which is unable to perform its obligations in the event of “force majeure”

c. In the event of a circumstance of force majeure which relieves the parties from the performance of its obligations, both parties shall nevertheless best endeavour to perform its obligations as soon as is practicable and to the best of their ability.

d. Customers should be aware that vintage crockery is old and delicate and therefore no responsibility can be taken for any injury arising from the goods unless it can be shown to have resulted from negligence on the part of A Cup of Vintage.

 

 

6. Prior Appointment

a. Specific items seen on the website are used as examples of our range of china. Their inclusion in your order will be subject to availability.
